Weinberg operator contribution to the <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mrow><mml:mi>C</mml:mi><mml:mi>P</mml:mi></mml:mrow></mml:math> -odd nuclear force in the quark model

The contribution of the CP violating three-gluon interaction, proposed by Weinberg, to short-range CP-odd nuclear force is evaluated in nonrelativistic quark model. We first show that naive leading generated exchange process vanishes at sufficiently short distance within resonating group method, considering one-loop level gluon interquark potential induced Weinberg operator with massive quarks and gluons. then estimate true evaluating gluonic correction closure approximation. It found resulting irreducible comparable chiral rotation CP-even force, where mass calculated QCD sum rules used as input. explicit calculation electric dipole moment (EDM) $^3$He nucleus yields $d_{^3{\rm He}}^{\rm (irr)} (w) = - 1.5 \, w\, e $ MeV. total EDM, accounting for intrinsic nucleon pion-exchange (tot)} 20_{-11}^{+14} MeV, dominant effect coming from EDM.
